ABOUT VISION BLVD

Vision Blvd is a San Francisco campaign seeking to remove the remaining Central Freeway and replace it with abundant new housing, new public transit opportunities, and new green space. This will dramatically transform an important centrally-located corridor into a beautiful, safe, and vibrant new boulevard, with a new set of neighborhood features that benefit the entire city.

WHO WE ARE

Daniel Owens

Daniel is a public high school educator who has worked in education since 2008. Born and raised in San Diego, he has lived in the Mission District for nearly twenty years.

Greg Riessen

Greg is a Bay Area traffic engineer who has worked in the government and corporate sectors, including eight years for the City of San Francisco.

Vladimir Vlad

Vladimir is a designer with a background in architecture and urban design. He grew up in Hayes Valley, witnessing firsthand the transformative benefits of freeway removal.
