VISION
ABOUT VISION BLVD
Vision Blvd is a San Francisco campaign seeking to remove the remaining Central Freeway and replace it with abundant new housing, new public transit opportunities, and new green space. This will dramatically transform an important centrally-located corridor into a beautiful, safe, and vibrant new boulevard, with a new set of neighborhood features that benefit the entire city.
WHO WE ARE
Vision Blvd is a San Francisco–based coalition of educators, planners, designers, and local community members committed to building a more livable, equitable, and forward-thinking city. We support new housing, better transit, and expanded green space, and we believe San Francisco can—and must—do better. We see the removal of the Central Freeway as a cornerstone opportunity to reconnect neighborhoods, improve quality of life, and help the city reach its full potential.
